Voveran SR 100 mg contains the active ingredient Diclofenac sodium is one of a class of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These drugs relieve pain, reduce swelling, and ease inflammation in conditions affecting the joints, muscles, and tendons. Diclofenac sodium effectively treats rheumatoid arthritis, acute gout, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, backache, soft tissue sports injuries, frozen shoulders, tendonitis, bursitis, dislocations, and fractures.
Carefully consider the benefits and risks of Voveran SR 100 mg and other treatment options before deciding to use it. Your doctor will prescribe the effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals.
The doctor will tell you how many tablets to take and when to take them. Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Speak to your doctor if you are not sure. Take the tablet before or after consuming food. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water. The recommended dose for adults usually depends on the condition of the patient. The medication is not suitable for children under twelve years of age. Your doctor may also prescribe another medication to protect the stomach from being used, particularly if you have a history of stomach problems, or if you are elderly, or taking certain drugs as well. If you take more medicine, tell your doctor right away. Symptoms of an overdose include nausea, headache, diarrhoea, ringing in the ears, dizziness, drowsiness, excitation, stomach or intestinal bleeding, abdominal pain, and vomiting.
Voveran SR 100 mg is contraindicated in patients known hypersensitivity to Diclofenac, ibuprofen, aspirin, any other NSAIDs, or any of the other medical components. Signs of a hypersensitivity reaction include breathing problems, runny nose, chest pain, skin rash, swelling of the face or mouth, or any other allergic-type of reaction. Before initiating the treatment, you must inform your doctor if you suffer from various conditions such as heart diseases, asthma, and impaired kidney function. Let your doctor if you have ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, angina, diabetes, or an auto-immune disorder known as systematic Lupus Erythematosus.
You should tell your doctor if you will have surgery on the stomach or intestinal tract before receiving an NSAID.
Voveran SR can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Stop taking Diclofenac formulation and tell your doctor right away if you notice:
- Breathlessness, trouble breathing when lying, swelling of the feet and legs
- Sudden weakness or numbness in the face, arms, and legs
- Stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, heartburn, or vomiting
- Swollen face, lips, hands, or fingers
- Wheezing or shortness of breath
- An unexpected change in the amount of urine produced
- Persistent sore throat or high temperature
- Allergic reactions include itching, painful red areas, itching, and peeling or blistering
- Yellowing of the skin or eye paleness.
