Foracort Rotacaps 400 mcg 6 mcg used to prevent bronchospasm associated with reversible COPD, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. This dual combination effectively produces hassle free-breathing process. They collectively relax the muscles and increase the airflow to the lungs. Budesonide directly reaches small airways in the lungs where it induces its effects. Therefore, preventing sign and symptoms of asthma and COPD. The other active ingredient of the medicine is Formoterol. The drug has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce inflammation of airways that is responsible for causing narrowing of airways.  

Your doctor will decide the best dosage of Foracort Rotacaps 400mcg 6mcg depending upon the severity and demand of the disease condition. The dose can vary widely and is required to be taken regularly. Do not swallow Foracort Rotacaps. This is intended to be taken by inhalation only, using your Rotahaler. Rinse your mouth after using it as it helps to avoid any throat irritation and dry mouth like conditions. Open the Rotahaler capsule by holding it in a horizontal position by keeping white spot up and lighter colored end in opposite direction. Then gently breathe out and seal your lips around the mouthpiece. Take a full deep breath in your mouth and hold your breath for up to ten seconds. After that, take a normal breath and throw away the empty capsule shell. Re-organize the Rotahaler and repeat the procedure as prescribed. Before using, see the instructions mentioned on the leaflet. You should not use Foracort Rotacaps 400mcg 6mcg if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, an electrolyte imbalance, epilepsy, liver problems, prostate-related problems, heart problems, or are allergic to Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate. Do not use it if you are planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding.

Every drug has some unwanted effects associated with it. Similarly, Budesonide and Formoterol also have some side effects; however, it is not necessary that everyone experience the side effect. Some common ones include runny nose, sore throat and other cold symptoms, backache, abdominal discomfort and pain, mild headache, white patches in your mouth or throat.
