Ciplox 250 mg treats a wide range of bacterial infections. It has the active ingredient Ciprofloxacin, which treats infection of the bladder, prostate, kidney, intestine, stomach, lung, bone, sinus, and skin. Ciprofloxacin kills a wide range of bacteria responsible for causing the infection in different areas of the body. When it comes to treating the bacterial infection, the antibiotic agent is extremely safe and effective. Sometimes viruses could be the reason for your sinuses or lung infection. Ciplox, like other antibiotics, does not kill viruses. You should speak to your doctor straight away if your condition is not improving while receiving the therapy.
Do not take Ciplox 250 mg unless directed by your doctor. Your doctor may be asked to take medicine twice daily, in the morning and the evening. Ciplox 250 mg is generally well tolerated and safe to use. But like other medications, the antibiotic medication cause side effects in some patients. The most common side effects, which are usually mild, include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, discomfort and abdominal pain. If you have diarrhea for a longer duration, call your doctor straight away. Rarely Ciplox 250 mg causes allergic reactions after just one dose. The symptoms include breathing problems, hives, or swelling of the face, throat, and tongue. Discontinue treatment and visit your doctor straight away. Some patients taking quinolone antibiotics may become more sensitive to ultraviolet light. In that case, you should avoid excessive exposure to sunlight while receiving Ciprofloxacin. Convulsions have been reported in patients using Ciplox tablets. Be sure to let your doctor know if you have convulsions. The antibiotic agent may cause central nervous system problems such as tremors, depression, confusion, and hallucinations. The medicine has been rarely associated with inflammation of tendons. Call your doctor straight away and discontinue treatment if you experience pain or swelling of a tendon. If you notice any other side effect, please inform your doctor.
