Starting August 29, 2025, the U.S. will remove the de minimis exemption, which currently allows shipments under $800 to enter duty- and tax-free.

This means all international shipments—including postal and courier deliveries—will require a customs entry. While carriers and postal services are preparing new procedures, there may be some temporary delays or added checks as the rules take effect.
