A Ret Gel is a retinoid used for topical application in the treatment of acne vulgaris. It has been found to reduce blemishes on the skin significantly and improve the skin's overall quality. For topical use, A Ret Gel .025% (20gm) can be applied daily once daily to the skin where acne lesions appear. It has tretinoin as the active ingredient for topical application in the treatment of acne vulgaris. Being a retinoid, tretinoin makes it difficult for comedones to form, and the Propionibacterium becomes prolific due to pores' oxygen exposure. Retin A is prescription strength retinol that is stronger than over the counter retinol. It not only treats acne, but Tretinoin reduces fine lines, wrinkles, inflammation, and hyperpigmentation. The product increases collagen synthesis and improves the texture of the skin.
First, thoroughly clean the face, remove makeup, dirt, or impurities. Ensure you do not scrub harshly; exfoliating too much during the cleansing process can case Retin A to irritate the skin. Apply a thin layer of gel on completely dry skin. Be sure to cover the entire affected area. Apply once daily before bed. Moisturize your face and wear sunscreen while using a tretinoin formulation. Do not use more gel than you need to cover the affected area, and do not apply more than once daily. Using it too much or too often will not give you better results, and you may develop skin redness, peeling or discomfort. You may get pimples during the initial days of the treatment, but at this stage, it is important to continue using the gel formulation.
Tretinoin is a widely used retinoid for the topical treatment of acne, hyperpigmentation, and photoaged skin. When starting the treatment, it is recommended that you maintain a gentle skincare routine free of chemicals. Products such as cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreens should remain in your skincare regimen. Start slowly as the product may initially cause redness, flaking, or skin peeling. Begin treatment using the gel formulation twice a week, then slowly move to every day until your skin adjusts. Speak to your dermatologist to get more information about the use of Retin A gel.
A Ret Gel .025% may cause skin dryness, swelling, redness, and blistering. If you develop any of these symptoms, your dermatologist may ask you to discontinue treatment tretinoin gel for a while, decrease application, or completely stop treatment. The most common side effects of tretinoin include itching and burning sensation. Inform your dermatologist straight away if any of these side effects bother you or persist for a longer duration.
