Metolar XR 50 mg belongs to a group of drugs known as beta-blockers. The class of medication treats a wide range of medical conditions. These include:

Common side effects of Metolar extended-release capsule50 mg are hypotension, first-degree heart block, dizziness, depression, confusion, central nervous system, bradycardia, rash, psoriasis, libido decreased, diarrhoea, fatigue, and claudication. Excess use of Metoprolol XR 50 mg capsule may cause decreased heart rate, low blood pressure and oxygen levels.
