Careprost 3 ml is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, darker, thicker they were ever before. It is used on the skin of the upper eyelid margins at the base of the eyelashes. Do not attempt to rinse your eyes after applying the formulation. Long term usage may cause brown discoloration of the colored portion of the iris. If you stop using Careprost ophthalmic solution 0.003%, your eyelashes are expected to return to their previous state over several weeks to months. Darkening of the eyelid is also expected to resolve within several weeks to months. Do not give the product to anyone as it may not be appropriate for them to use.

The suggested dosage is one application nightly to the skin of the upper eyelid only. Once the nightly application, start by ensuring your face is clean and remove makeup and contact lenses. Take the applicator and place one drop of solution onto the applicator brush. Immediately draw the line at the base of eyelashes with the help of an applicator. 

Do not apply the liquid suspension to the lower eyelid. If you are using Careprost or other products of the same drug category for elevated intraocular pressure (IOP), or if you have ever had abnormal IOP, you should only use Careprost under the supervision of a physician. The product may cause darkening of the eyelid skin, which may be reversible. Bimatoprost ophthalmic solution may also cause increased brown pigmentation of the colored part, which is likely t be permanent. Unwanted hair growth may occur in other areas of your skin that Careprost solution frequently touches.

Do not use Careprost bimatoprost careprost solution if you are allergic to one of its ingredients. Any excess formulation outside the upper eyelid margin should be blotted with a tissue or a cotton swab to prevent unwanted hair growth. It is also possible to find a difference in eyelash length, darkness, thickness, pigmentation, and the number of eyelash hairs. These changes will usually disappear once you discontinue treatment. You should tell your doctor if you are using Careprost eye drops, especially if you have a history of eye pressure problems. Let your doctor know that you are using the Careprost solution. The ophthalmic suspension is not expected to cause harm if it gets into your eyes. Don’t allow the tip of the Careprost bottle or the applicator to come in contact with the surrounding skin’s surface.

After using Careprost 3ml eye drops, the most common side effects are an itching sensation in the eyes and eye redness. Other side effects of ophthalmic medicine include eye irritation, skin darkening, redness of the eyelids, and dryness of the eyes. If you develop a new ocular condition, have ocular surgery, experience a sudden decrease in vision, or develop any ocular effects, particularly conjunctivitis and eyelid reactions, you should speak to your ophthalmologist straight away about the continued use of Careprost 3ml solution.
