Erytop 1% Gel 20gm is effective in treating acne vulgaris in adults. Clindamycin, the active ingredient of the medicine is an antibiotic that belongs to a Lincosamide family of medicines known for treating bacterial infection and certain protozoal infections. This drug is indicated for acne treatment; it is a condition in which there is an eruption of a pimple, mostly on the face, back, arms and chest. It is one of the most common condition observed in teenagers. Among these, it is also used to treat other bacterial infection like vaginal infection (Vaginitis).

Erytop 1% Gel 20gm is available in the gel, applied topically on the skin. Wash your hand and the affected area before the application. Dry the skin using a soft towel, apply a thin film over the affected area, and gently rub it into the inflamed skin. Talk to your dermatologist and let him know if you experience any health changes while taking this medicine. For best results, use it under the supervision of a dermatologist. You should normally wash and dry the affected skin before applying a thin film of the medicine. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off immediately if the topical formulation gets into your mucus membrane. It may take several weeks to see improvement in the appearance of your acne. Do not stop using it as soon as you begin to see a significant reduction in acne. Your dermatologist will advise you of the duration of treatment.

Erytop contains the active ingredient Clindamycin. It is an antibiotic gel that belongs to a Lincosamide family of medicines known for treating bacterial infection and certain protozoal infections.
