Zocon DT contains Fluconazole, the first subclass of synthetic triazole antifungal agent, is available for oral use. It treats infections caused by fungi and may also be prescribed to stop you from getting a candidal infection. Zocon 100 mg is a dispersible tablet you swallow to treat vaginal yeast infections caused by a yeast called Candida. It stops the growth the yeast from growing in the vagina, so the yeast infection goes away. Vaginal yeast infections are common, and three out of four adult women will have at least one vaginal yeast infection during their life. Sometimes, medical conditions and medications can also increase the chance of getting a yeast infection. If you are pregnant, have diabetes mellitus, use contraceptive pills or antibiotics, you may be more likely to get a yeast infection than other women. Hygiene issues and certain types of clothing may also increase your risk of getting the infection. You may ask your doctor for tips on what you do to prevent too much yeast from growing in the vagina. If you are dealing with a vaginal infection, you may have redness, soreness, itching, a burning feeling when you urinate, and a thick vaginal discharge. Fluconazole is different from other treatments for vaginal yeast infections because it is a tablet for oral administration. Your doctor may prescribe this antifungal agent for other conditions. For more information about using the medicine for other reasons, consult your doctor.

Take Zocon DT by mouth before or after consuming food.  You may take these dispersible tablets at any time of the day. The antifungal medicine keeps working for several days to treat the infection. Generals the symptoms begin to resolve after 24 hours. However, it may take up to several days for your symptoms to resolve completely. If you cannot see improvement after a few days of regular treatment, call your doctor right away.
