For most dental and vaginal infections, you are likely to be asked to take a single dose of four tablets. For other bacterial infections, you need to continue taking medicine for up to a week. Your doctor will tell you what dose is correct for you. Continue treatment until the course is finished. Your symptoms could return if you discontinue treatment before the end of the course.
