Seroflo inhaler combines the inhaled corticosteroid, fluticasone propionate, and the long-acting beta-agonist (LABA) medicine salmeterol. An inhaled corticosteroid medicine such as fluticasone help to decrease inflammation in the lungs. Salmeterol, a LABA medicine, cause the muscles around the airways in your lungs to stay relaxed to prevent symptoms such as cough, wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. These symptoms can occur when the muscles around the airways tighten, thus making it harder to breathe.
Seroflo inhaler is a prescription treatment that prevents asthma and chronic obstructive disease. Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition in which airway passage gets narrow, leading to difficulty breathing. The chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder is a group of lung disorders that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs.
