Rozavel 40 mg contains Rosuvastatin, which belongs to a class of drugs known as statins. You have been prescribed this statin medication because you have a high cholesterol level. Having high cholesterol levels means you are at high risk of heart attack and stroke. The formulation is used in adults, adolescents, and children six years or older to treat high cholesterol levels. You have been advised to take this statin medication because diet modifications and exercise were not enough to achieve the appropriate cholesterol range. Rozavel 40 mg is a prescription medicine used to treat cholesterol levels in the blood. It contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin, which is used to correct fatty substances in the blood called lipids. There is a different type of cholesterol found in the blood.
Follow your doctor’s instructions while taking rosuvastatin tablets. Your doctor may ask you to stick to a cholesterol-lowering diet during the treatment. Your treatment with Rosuvastatin must start with a low dose, even if you have used a higher dose of a different statin before.
