Potrate 540 mg are potassium citrate extended-release tablet used to treat a kidney stone called renal tubular acidosis. It is used to make the urine less acidic. This medicine helps the kidneys to get rid of uric acid, thereby helping to prevent gout or kidney stones. Potassium is an essential electrolyte for carrying out a wide range of bodily functions.
