Olmesar A 5/20 mg is a prescription treatment for patients with hypertension (high blood pressure). Numerous antihypertensive agents with a different mechanisms of action have been introduced to reduce cardiovascular mortality and morbidity. The most consistent cardiovascular benefit has been a reduction in the risk of stroke, but the reduction in myocardial infarction cardiovascular mortality also have been regularly. Patients with moderate to severe hypertension are more likely to experience cardiovascular events, so a decision to use a combination therapy such as Olmesar A 5 20 mg is considered effective.

Olmesartan A may be given to provide additional blood pressure lowering for patients not adequately controlled with Amlodipine. The usual starting dose is 5/20 mg once per day.
