Invokana 100 mg is for those with type 2 diabetes; it is prescribed to bring blood sugar under control. The medicine is prescribed along with exercise and diet to control high blood pressure. Controlling high blood sugar may prevent blindness, kidney damage, nerve problem, sexual function problems, and so on. Invokana contains Canagliflozin 100 mg as the main active ingredient.

The recommended dose is one tablet to be taken before the day's first meal. Your doctor will set the right dosage after examining you thoroughly and considering the test reports and several other factors such as age, weight, the severity of the condition, drug interaction, response to treatment, and so on. The medicine is to be taken orally with water every morning. Take this medicine regularly to achieve maximum benefit.

It is also advisable to share the list of medicines that you are taking currently to avoid any drug interaction. Here is a list of medicines that may interact with the Invokana tablet. These the are bupropion, glipizide, insulin lispro, and insulin glargine.

Some common side effects of Invokana 100 mg may include blurred vision, constipation, nausea, thirst, frequent urination, dry mouth, dizziness, and light-headedness.
