The active ingredient of the drug is Pinavarium bromide. The medicine is mainly used for treating irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The medicine relieves symptoms of abdominal pain, bowel disorder, loose motion or constipation associated with depression or anxiety, and several other problems.
IBS is a chronic inflammatory disease of the large intestine. This condition can lead to diarrhea, bleeding, bloating, cramps and stomach pain. Eldicet works by calming bowel muscles and restoring normal contraction. Your doctor can prescribe Eldicet in combination with other medications. A fibre-rich, non-oily and spicy diet and plenty of fluid intakes are recommended while taking this medicine.
Take the dosage as prescribed; doctors usually recommend 50 mg tablet to be taken thrice daily. However, the dose can vary from patient to patient.
The tablet is to be taken orally with water after taking a meal. Do not lie down immediately and wait for at least 30 minutes after taking this medicine.

Drug Interactions
