Duolin Respules 1.25 mg 500 mcg is formulated to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. Your doctor may also prescribe this medication to constrict airways, inflammation in the lungs, and other related conditions. This medicine is a combination of two active ingredients, namely Ipratropium bromide and salbutamol. Both are effective bronchodilators, which improves breathing by opening up the airways passage. The medication does this by preventing the contraction of the smooth muscles that surround the lungs' airways, which allows the airways to remain open. Duolin respules are extremely beneficial in treating breathing difficulties in people with long-lasting breathing issues in COPD. The medicine helps in relieving chest tightness, shortness of breath, and wheezing by opening up airways. Duolin respules comprises of an active pharmaceutical ingredient called Levosalbutamol and Ipratropium Bromide. These ingredients simultaneously release on the muscarinic and beta2-adrenergic receptors present in the lungs. This all leads to the dilation of the narrowed bronchioles and is thus used to treat and prevent bronchospasm associated with reversible COPD, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema.
