Diane 35 mg contains Cyproterone acetate and Ethinyl Estradiol as the primary active ingredients. Diane is a combination of 2 hormonal medicine to treat PCOS (polycystic ovary syndromes) symptoms such as hirsutism (excessive hair growth), irregular periods and acne. The medicine also works as a contraceptive, so avoid using another contraceptive pill while taking Diane.

There are some drugs with which taking Diane has been restricted due to the severe drug interaction. These restricted drugs are Ampicillin, Amiodarone, Hyaluronidase, Lidocaine, Melatonin, Meperidine, Clarithromycin, and Erythromycin.
Nausea, headache, stomach pain, breast pain and weight gain are the most common side effects of Diane 35 mg.
