Cardivas 6.25 mg is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure and angina. Each film-coated 6.25 g tablet contains Carvedilol as the active ingredient. It can be used as an adjunctive treatment of moderate and chronic stable chronic heart failure. Take medicine orally with the help of water. Do not chew or crush the tablet, do not skip the most with your doctor’s advice. Do not consume more than the prescribed amount. Diabetic patients should report any changes to their blood sugar level to the doctor.
You need to take Cardivas 12.5 mg every day as directed by your doctor. If you discontinue treatment, you could have chest pain or a heart attack. These include medicines to treat irregular heartbeat, nitrate medicines for angina, medicines used to treat heart failure, anti-diabetic agents, antifungal medications, medicines to treat allergic reactions, anti-migraine medications, anti-depressants used for cold and cough remedies. Common side effects of Cardivas 6.25 mg include headache, dizziness, low blood pressure, tiredness, and heart failure. Other mild to moderate side effects include an increase in weight, elevated cholesterol levels, low number of red blood cells, slow heart rate, bronchitis, reduced lacrimation, uncontrolled blood sugar, slow heart rate, infections of the urinary tract, dizziness when standing up quickly, difficulty in passing urine, malaise, asthma and breathing problems.
