Rpigat 20 mg treats and prevents blood clots. Rivaroxaban, the active ingredient, belongs to a class of medications known as antithrombotic agents. Doctors also prescribe Rpigat to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. The medicine helps prevent and treat clot formation in various body parts like the brain, heart, lungs, and leg veins. Rivaroxaban is commonly prescribed to patients with atrial fibrillation (irregular heart rhythm) to prevent clot formation.

Take Rpigat 20 mg tablet followed by food. Crush the pill and mix it with applesauce or normal water to consume if you cannot swallow the pill. You may prescribed to take Rpigat for years, even for life in some cases. Do not alter or stop taking the medicine with your doctor’s approval.

Rpigat 20 mg is contraindicated in patients who have:

     –    Active pathological bleeding.

     –    Severe hypersensitivity reactions to Rivaroxaban.

     –    Pregnancy or breastfeeding state

     –    Liver or kidney disorder

     –    Taking other medicine to reduce blood clotting

Caution - The safety and effectiveness of Rpigat have not been established in children. Also, in adults, when consuming alcohol with Rivaroxaban.

Bleeding is the most commonly reported side effect of Rpigat. Other side effects of the medicine include headache, fever, vomiting, raised heartbeat, and low platelets.
