Levolin respules 0.63 mg/2.5 ml is a bronchodilator medicine that causes muscles in the airways to relax and improves airflow to the lungs. Levolin contains Levosalbutamol, the class of bronchodilators that help the airways in your lungs stay open. It is extremely effective for patients with conditions that make breathing difficult (asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). This product is for oral inhalation only. Use it by nebulizing using a standard jet nebulizer. 

Based on your medical condition, your doctor will advise Levolin respules 0.63mg/2.5ml. For children 6 to 11 years old, the suggested dose is 0.63 mg, administered thrice daily by nebulization. For adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older, the suggested dose for inhalation is 0.63 mg, used daily, every 6 to 8 hours thrice, by nebulization. For best results, do not exceed the recommended dose. Inhalation delivers the medication directly into the small airways in the lungs, thereby minimizing side effects due to reduced absorption of the inhaled medications.   

Avoid discontinuing the treatment without your doctor’s advice. Inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, heart disease, seizure, overactive thyroid, stomach ulcer, high blood pressure, diabetes or low potassium level in the bloodstream. Please let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you take any prescribed or non-prescribed medications. You should avoid smoking, especially during treatment, as it causes damage to your lungs and will worsen your condition. 

Levolin respules are not recommended for use in children under six.

Common side effects of Levolin respules 0.63 mg/2.5 ml include dizziness, bronchitis, nasal congestion, vomiting, accidental injury, and pharyngitis. These side effects gradually improve as your body gets used to this medicine. There are other side effects, and you should speak to your doctor immediately if you develop a very bad headache, severe dizziness, and chest pain.
