It effectively treats many types of bacterial infections, such as infections of the lungs and urinary tract. The medicine can treat other infections: respiratory tract, urinary tract, nose, ear, skin, and gynaecological infections. Bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria grow inside the body and cause an infection. It can affect any part of the body and multiply very rapidly. The antibiotic drug usually makes you feel better very quickly. Still, you should continue following the treatment as prescribed, even if you feel better, to ensure that all the bacteria are eliminated and do not become resistant.

The dose and duration of treatment depend on the severity of the infection and how you respond to the drug. If you discontinue treatment too early, the infection may re-occur or worsen.
