Dytor 100 mg contains Torsemide, which belongs to a class of medications known as diuretics or water tablets. It is prescribed to treat oedema associated with congestive heart failure, liver disease, or kidney impairment. The use of Dytor is effective when it comes to treating oedema associated with chronic renal insufficiency. Torsemide reduces the swelling caused by excessive water in the body in people with liver disease, kidney disorder, and heart failure. Chronic use of any diuretic in liver disease has not been studied. Torsemide is also effective in treating hypertension alone or with another antihypertensive drug.  Â
The dosage depends on your condition's severity and how your body responds to the treatment. Dytor is mostly prescribed for daily consumption and can be taken before or after consuming food. It may affect the sleeping pattern. Patients are generally advised not to take this medicine for about four hours before bedtime, as they may need to urinate frequently in the middle of the night.
