Angizem CD 90 contains Diltiazem, a calcium channel blocker drug that effectively relaxes heart muscles and blood vessels. The drug is a prescription treatment for patients who suffer from hypertension (high blood pressure) or angina (chest pain). Patients with various disorders of the heart rhythm may also be given Angizem CD 90mg capsule.
Angizem is taken orally, and the dosage should be strictly taken according to the doctor. Take the capsules with the help of water. Do not chew or open the capsule. Do not discontinue treatment without a doctor’s consent. You should not consume more than the prescribed amount.

You are not a suitable candidate for Diltiazem 90 mg if you suffer from any of the following conditions:
- Sick sinus syndrome
- Severe bradycardia
- Congestive heart failure
- Concomitant use Ivabradine
- Second- or third-degree heart blockage
- Left ventricular failure with pulmonary congestion
- Acute myocardial infarction and pulmonary congestion
- Concomitant use of dantrolene infusion
- Hypersensitivity to Diltiazem or any other inactive ingredients in the medicine
Other precautions are:

Diltiazem may cause dizziness or sleepiness. The medicine is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have side effects. Hypotension (low blood pressure), liver disease, and heart failure are examples of such conditions. Angizem 90 capsules should be used with caution in patients who have diabetes.
Amiodarone should be with caution with Diltiazem, particularly if an individual is suspected of having underlying sinus node dysfunction such as bradycardia or sick sinus syndrome.
