Moisol 5 ml is an ophthalmic solution used for artificial tears:

   — To prevent damage to the cornea when the ocular surface is not properly lubricated and covered by the eyelids.

   — To provide relief from dry eye conditions

   — To help moisten hard contact lenses to lubricate artificial eyes.

Always use Hydroxypropyl-methyl eye drops exactly as your doctor has told you. You should check with your dermatologist if you are not sure. Usually, the dose depends on the need for lubrication. The recommended dosage for adults, children, and infants of all age groups is one or two drops topically instilled into the eye thrice a day as needed or as directed by your ophthalmologist. People who wear contact lenses should remove their lenses before using the eye drops and wait at least fifteen minutes before re-inserting their lenses. Do not allow the dropper to touch your eyelids, fingers, or surfaces.                                  

Moisol 5 ml should not be used in patients allergic to Hydroxypropyl-methylcellulose eye drops.  

Take special care with Moisol 5 ml eye drops if you:

• Wear soft contact lenses
• Are you pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are taking other medicines. Moisol 5 ml may increase the time other medicines stay in the eye.

Please tell your doctor if you are using this ophthalmic solution and develop signs of irritation or sensitivity. Also, tell your doctor if you are using this medicine and develop signs of irritation and sensitivity. Avoid driving or using machines if you have blurred vision after using Moisol eye drops. You should wait until it clears before driving or using machinery work.   

Like all medicines, Mosiol 5 ml eye drops can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Most of these side effects affect only the eye and may not last long. Talk to your doctor if you have severe or persistent side effects.
