HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a natural hormone produced in the placenta of pregnant women. This hormone is responsible for metabolism stabilization during pregnancy, and ensures that all the essential nutrients are being delivered to the fetus.
  • Before you start HCG diet plan, set your weight loss goals, pick up a start date, record measurements and take some pictures of yourself.
  • That done, start taking 3 HCG drops daily, once in the morning, 30 minutes before lunch and 30 minutes before dinner. Place 4-5 drops under your tongue, hold for 30 seconds and then swallow. Do not eat or drink anything for at least 10 minutes.
  • In the first 2 days of starting the diet plan, you will be advised to build up fat stores in your body by eating high-fat foods. This will help you in maintaining energy and preventing hunger.
  • After that, start your diet plan by sticking to your meal plan with no fatty foods and sugars. Continue taking HCG drops daily. To lose up to 20 pounds, you will have to diet for 20 days, and to lose more than that, you will have to diet for 40 days.
  • After you have achieved your desired weight goals, stop using the HCG drops and start taking other types of foods to increase calorie intake.
During the HCG diet plan, you will be allowed to take
  • Only one serving of fruits in a day
  • 100 grams of lean meat with all the oil and fat removed
  • Vegetables like spinach, chicory, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and cabbage two times in a day
  • 1 gallon of water per day
  • Any kind of tea or coffee without sugar (you can use stevia or saccharine as sweeteners)
  • Only 1 table spoon milk in a day
