Sifasi 2000 i.u is a hormone that supports the normal development of an egg in a woman’s ovary, where it stimulates the release of the egg during a process called ovulation. Doctors prescribe HCG injection to treat infertility in women and to increase sperm count in men. The medicine contains HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which stimulates the ovaries to produce progesterone and promotes ovulation in women. In men, HCG causes stimulation of cells in the testicles to produce androgens.

Sifasi-HP (highly purified) 2000 i.u is given as an injection into a muscle. If you use an HCG shot at home, your doctor will give you specific instructions about how and where to inject it. Do not administer this drug yourself if you do not fully understand the instructions given by your doctor or have any doubt about the drug’s usage. Inform your doctor straight away if you develop signs of a blood clot such as redness, numbness, warmth, pain, confusion, severe headache, extreme dizziness, or tingling in your arm and leg.

Your doctor will give you this injectable drug, do not self-administer the medicine. If you are using it at home, make sure you follow the instructions given by your doctor. The medicine may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is limited evidence that shows harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the risk and benefits of taking medicine before prescribing the injection. Breastfeeding women should also consult their respective doctors before receiving an HCG shot. People suffering from liver or kidney disease should consult their doctor before using Sifasi injection.

Make sure you do not take two medicines at the same time. It is advisable to consult your doctor before receiving any other treatment. You should inform your doctor if you have heart disease, have an ovarian cyst, or had thyroid gland disorder. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol entirely during the treatment. The medication should be used under the supervision of a doctor. When given into a muscle, it is preferred to inject into the buttocks or the arms. There are reports that Sifasi 2000 injection can cause mild tenderness at the site of injection. However, no need to worry, as it is quite normal for an injection to cause pain. If the pain is unbearable, seek immediate medical help.

The most common side effects associated with the use of Sifasi HP 2000 i.u. include headache, depression, injection site pain, and fatigue. If any of these side effects become bothersome or appear serious, talk to your doctor straight away. There may be ways to reduce or prevent them. Males who receive HCG shots might notice sweating, acne, and deepening of the voice. Other side effects of the medicine include dizziness, abdominal pain, faintness, and vomiting after getting the injection. Consult your doctor if you develop any of these symptoms.
