Azithral eye drop 3 ml is useful in treating bacterial conjunctivitis. It contains the active ingredient Azithromycin, which helps to kill the bacteria responsible for causing the infection. People dealing with conjunctivitis develop inflamed eyes, and their eyes may have more water than usual. Your eyes appear red, swollen and stuck together with a discharge, especially when you wake up in the morning. Zaha drops to treat this eye infection that produces a lot of pus caused by bacteria called chlamydia trachomatis. The ophthalmic solution can be prescribed for adults and children of all ages.

Read the instructions carefully for the correct use of the medicine. Use Azithral eye drops exactly as your doctor has told you. For the first two days, your ophthalmologist may ask you to place one drop in your eye twice daily, eight to twelve hours apart and then instil one drop once a day for the next five days. Wash your hands well before you use the ophthalmic solution.  Apply one drop into your affected eye. After application, close your eye for a minute and gently press the corner of the eye where your eye meets your nose. This helps to stop the liquid medication from stopping from draining out of your eye and keeps it in your eye. Repeat the process for your other eye as well. Before you start the treatment, carefully read the instructions given on your prescription. It will provide information related to eye drops and a full list of side effects you may experience. If your symptoms do not improve after using the eye drops, talk to your doctor.  When you first instil the drops in your eye, they may cause blurred vision. However, the effect quickly clears, but make sure you do not drive until you begin to see again. Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to another. Rinsing your hands often and not sharing your towels and pillows will help you prevent the infection from spreading.  

Do not wear contact lenses if you have signs or symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis until you have finished the course prescribed by your ophthalmologist. The symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis include eye redness, eye irritation, and discharge coming from the eye. Only your ophthalmologist, an expert in analysing eye conditions, can tell if you have bacterial conjunctivitis. The severe allergic reaction has been reported rarely with Azithral ophthalmic preparation. Azithromycin in the solution may cause a serious allergic reaction. These reactions may need to be treated immediately as these may be life-threatening.      

The most common side effect of Azithral eye drop 3ml is eye irritation. Other side effects seen with topical antibiotic medicine include eye pain, eye itching, discharge coming from the eye, eye burning, stinging, irritation, a feeling of discomfort in the eye, irritation on your eyelid. Severe
