This medicine is administered in a Rotahaler dosage forms. In this, dry fine powdered drug is present in a capsule known as Rotacaps. They release the drug directly at the site of action. They produce rapid and fast relief action within five to twenty minutes of dosing.

How it works?
It contains one active ingredient Beclomethasone Dipropionate. It is a synthetic potent glucocorticoid which exerts anti-inflammatory properties.
It is a steroidal drug having high affinity to the cytoplasmic receptors and stops the formation of chemical mediators that causes inflammation in the lungs. It shows anti-inflammatory action by controlling following steps:
- The rate of protein synthesis
- Migration of leukocytes and Fibroblasts
- Stabilizing the lysosomal at the cellular level
This active ingredient solely targets on the inflammatory causing factors and inhibits them and doesn’t allow them to accumulate and cause asthmatic conditions.
When should you avoid it?
You should not take Beclate Rotacaps if you:
- Are allergic to any of the ingredients present in Beclate Rotacaps
- Have concomitant pulmonary tuberculosis
- Are planning pregnancy or in case of breast feeding mothers

How to take?
Do not swallow Beclate Rotacaps. This is intended to be taken by inhalation only, using your Rotahaler. Always use clean and dirt free mouthpiece. Take the Rotacap and insert the capsule in the Rotahaler by keeping it in upright position. Change the upright position to horizontal position by keeping white spot up and lighter colored end at different direction. This leads to the opening of capsule shell. Then, gently breathe out and seal your lips around the mouth piece. Take a full deep breath in your mouth and hold your breath for up to ten seconds. After that take normal breath and throw away the empty capsule shell. Reorganize the Rotahaler and repeat the procedure prescribed. Always talk to your Doctor or Pharmacist to make sure that you are taking medicine in a right way as prescribed by the Doctor.
When to take?
Take the medicine as prescribed by the Doctor. Try to take the dose at the same time each day; this reduces the chances of missing a dose.
For how long should it be taken?
Do not stop taking Beclate Rotacaps or change the dose without consulting with your Doctor. This drug is meant to be taken on regular basis, so keep on taking the drug as long as recommended by the Doctor.
What if you take too much (overdose)?
